Hiding elements before Vue compiles them

How web apps load

Let's talk briefly about how a JavaScript web app loads.

To begin with, the server delivers the index.html file to the browser. When the browser receives this it begins parsing the file from top to bottom.

Any HTML in the index file will be almost immediately displayed on the screen.
